GoLive Template Package Instructions
Go live components allow you to make changes to frequently updated items globally. For example - this site may utilize Go Live components for navigation to make it easy to update. Updating Go Live components consists of opening the component and making your changes to the component file itself. Saving the changes will automatically update all pages that have the component as a page element. For detailed instructions using Go Live Components, see your Go Live help files.
Adding Pages
It's easy to create new pages and add them to your web. Open a sample page or another page you have created and select "save as" and rename it. The new page should have the layout intact. Change the content or graphics inside the new page.
Modifying Images
You can edit the graphics in literally any graphics program. The image folder contains a blank state of the buttons and logo and page header files in either .gif or .jpg format. Open the blank images in the graphics program of your choice, and add text to match your site or company name and the names of your individual .htm pages. If the rollover images show only a text color change, only one blank image is included in the package.
Stylesheets
CSS has been used to set the font face, size, and color. You can easily edit these using the css editor built in to GoLive. There are also classes included in the stylesheet for making the news boxes text a different color as well as any links placed in those boxes.
To add a colored scrollbar, you will need to use notepad or another text editor to add this line to the body tag: scrollbar-base-color:#XXXXXX; Use may use any hex color code of your choosing.
